BOOKS TO MOVIES - GIVEAWAY HOP

I really like watching films and series inspired to books I love. I like to compare books and movies, and I'm always curious to see my dream characters come to life. Sometimes I am disappointed, sometimes I am thrilled, never indifferent.
Here are my choices for a great giveaway hop, BOOKS TO MOVIES, organized by Kathy at I am a Reader in collaboration with BookHounds.

You can choose one of these two books as your prize!

OUTLANDER by DIANA GABALDON

The series based on the first book of Diana Gabaldon's saga has just left his passionate fans frozen by an unexpected cliffhanger at the end of episode 8. Viewers will be missing Jamie Fraser and his newly-married,  timetravelling wife, Claire Beauchamp,  until April 4th when Starz will broadcast the second part of season one. So my suggestion is: if you haven't done it yet, read this incredibly engaging historical romance and get ready for 8 new incredible episodes in spring.

Win a paperback copy in this giveaway hop. Take your chances in the rafflecopter below.

Belle: The Slave Daughter and the Lord Chief Justice by Paula Byrne

From acclaimed biographer Paula Byrne, the sensational true tale that inspired the major motion picture Belle (May 2014) starring Tom Wilkinson, Miranda Richardson, Emily Watson, Penelope Wilton, and Matthew Goode—a stunning story of the first mixed-race girl introduced to high society England and raised as a lady.
The illegitimate daughter of a captain in the Royal Navy and an enslaved African woman, Dido Belle was sent to live with her great-uncle, the Earl of Mansfield, one of the most powerful men of the time and a leading opponent of slavery. Growing up in his lavish estate, Dido was raised as a sister and companion to her white cousin, Elizabeth. When a joint portrait of the girls, commissioned by Mansfield, was unveiled, eighteenth-century England was shocked to see a black woman and white woman depicted as equals. Inspired by the painting, Belle vividly brings to life this extraordinary woman caught between two worlds, and illuminates the great civil rights question of her age: the fight to end slavery.
Read my review of the movie and get your chances to win a copy in the giveaway!

Remember it is a hop! Lots of other blogs involved, lots of prizes to win!

I would choose Outlander b/c I've been hearing so much about the series. Also, I haven't read much historical fiction. Finally, it was mentioned in an episode of one of my favorite series, Orange is the New Black.

Thanks :)
