These books are not my favourite genre but they are so full deep meaningful pages. One has so much to learn from them...Maria Graziahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08876779286144473782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5114395886235179043.post-52137990054795343112010-04-09T15:56:16.553+02:002010-04-09T15:56:16.553+02:00I really like "Brave New World", my favo...I really like "Brave New World", my favourite part is exactly the same as yours! I liked it so much when I read it! I couldn't believe it is your favourite also! I haven't read "1984" and I have only watched the "Farenheit 451" movie, but I liked it, although it was scary. I'm not a fan of this kind of literature too, but sometimes it's not the genre what's important, what matters is the story after all...Lucianahttp://www.mrsthorntondarcy.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5114395886235179043.post-42111241360760405812010-04-09T07:37:21.057+02:002010-04-09T07:37:21.057+02:00@M.Gray

They are appalling and compelling and help you to understand the present world. Do you know why I love Fahrenheit and Brave New World so much? Because they deal with the theme of the importance and power of books. Those are my favourite pages. The freedom the read and to know must never be taken for granted. They are our strength, sometimes our only strength in order to defend our freedom.Maria Graziahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08876779286144473782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5114395886235179043.post-17284967886713813862010-04-09T02:48:26.908+02:002010-04-09T02:48:26.908+02:00Good for you, reading a genre that is not your fav...Good for you, reading a genre that is not your favorite. My latest manuscript is dystopian. These look good. I like how the second takes place in Europe. Mine is in the US and I think it would be great to write about another place.Mary Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14381578745894421730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5114395886235179043.post-84344428536619863812010-04-09T00:25:22.233+02:002010-04-09T00:25:22.233+02:00@JaneGS

I tend to not like this kind of genre either, but I do like to read books that have impacted our society, so I think I will have to deal with this hole in my reading.

I love your Throwback Thursday posts, btw. Always so interesting, and usually nostalgic for me.JaneGShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11094501834387622997noreply@blogger.com
